Mulch Benefits

Wood chip mulch offers multiple advantages to landscapes. Bark constituents help conserve moisture in the soil via evaporation reduction, this in turn results in decreased water usage for gardens and conserves moisture from rain. As mulch is an organic compound overtime it breaks down and provides a slow release of nutrients into the soil and ca enhance soil structure.

Wood chip creates an enhanced soil environment for plant roots under volatile weather conditions by its ability to act as an insulation layer to regulate soil temperature. Further more mulch reduce the amount of chemical herbicides used as it generates a weed growth barrier.

Lower Grade Mulch

This is usually comprised of palm or a palm mix, it is excellent in water retainment as the rough corse particles do not break down quickly therefore they are very long lasting. This is a fantastic much to cover large areas and build up landscapes, therefore ideal for large scale works.

Mixed Tree Mulch

Composed of both soft and hard wood chips from a variety of tree types this mulch option is versatile and durable. This is suitable for a wide range of gardens and is a high quality mulch product.

Please note this is a weed free mix.

Premium Grade Mulch

Best trees for this mix are oak, pine, beech and fruit this mulch option will be comprised of only the best species of trees (often natives)  for premium quality mulch. This wood chip type promotes soil health and structure adding essential nutrients and improving soil fertility. It is moisture- retentive and suppresses weed grow, without releasing tennis into the soil that may inhibit plant growth.
